African American College & Career Summit / African American Family Day

Hello Toilers and Toiler families,

You are cordially invited to the annual African American Family day on Saturday, October 29, 2016, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. We will have FREE workshops, food, child care, student performances and a college fair, in order to fellowship with one another and build a support network among African American students, families and allies. This entire event is hosted to help close the achievement gap and get more African American students to and through college.

The event will be held at Hamilton High School, but there will be FREE transportation leaving from Manual Arts, to take you and your family to family day and bring you back. For more information, follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, @aafd_2016 or @aafd2016. Please like and share our pages, or register at http://afamfamilyday2016.eventbrite.com.

We are excited for this day and we hope to see you there!!
